Ashleigh Applewhaite founded Applewhaite Advisory after a career spanning youth justice, safeguarding, and public service transformation. Her work began in youth justice and community practice in 2009, across Hackney, Caerphilly, and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, before moving into strategic programme leadership. She has led the financial recovery of Haringey's Safety Valve SEND programme, reducing a projected £80m deficit to £31m and securing a 90% DfE debt write-off, alongside delivering multi-million-pound youth work and violence reduction programmes across London. She writes on youth justice and SEND reform.
